Our client, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

The Role: Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project administration, from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling to procurement, construction, and final project closeout. They will collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  •   Lead the project team to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design documents.
  •   Assist senior management in collaborating with various departments, including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and finance.
  •   Develop project bidding strategies and manage the tender process.
  •   Oversee the logistics plan and ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
  •   Coordinate activities among project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents.
  •   Review and approve major purchase orders, change orders, and contractor requisitions.
  •   Conduct regular meetings with contractors and design teams to track progress and address any issues.
  •   Monitor and report on project costs, schedules, and financials, ensuring alignment with the project baseline.

  •  Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and consistent reporting.
  •   Oversee project closeout and secure client sign-off for the completed work. Qualifications:
  •   Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  •   Minimum of 10 years of construction project management experience.
  •   Current WHMIS certification and fall protection training.
  •   Strong understanding of construction, engineering, procurement, and industry standards.
  •   Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
  •   Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. What We Offer:
