Job Description

Our client is a global IT solution provider with offices in seven countries across the globe. They are technology advisors and solution providers with a proven track record of solving business challenges with their unique industry-based consultative solution approach. They partner with leading software vendors like Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, and UiPath to provide their customers with state-of-the-art solutions. They apply these solutions with a broad range of customers in Provincial Governments, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Manufacturing.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of their projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. As a Project Manager with their team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budget, resources, and
  • deliverables.
  • Lead project teams in the execution of plans, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.

      Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and
  • highperformance work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

       Client Engagement

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring
  • project objectives align with client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

        Risk Management:

  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement risk management plans to address potential obstacles and ensure project
  • success.

        Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.

        Quality Assurance

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of highquality project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 8+years of proven experience as a Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience specializing in the Canadian public sector and financial industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intricacies and specific requirements within these sectors."
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are often preferred.
  • o Experience in creating and managing project budgets.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and the ability to ensure project deliverables

  • Ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business administration, or a
  • related field
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
